A strange danger to Facebook free accounts

A strange danger to Facebook free accounts

Facebook has been hit by a strange bug that caused some users to receive a large number of celebrity-related posts in their content.

And the newspaper "The Post" published a report explaining that the screenshots circulating on "Twitter" indicate that some users have experienced a bug.

Many people also shared some strange text comments, photos and memes that appeared on their accounts regarding celebrity fan pages and other accounts related to public figures, according to the newspaper.

DownDetector, which tracks website outages, noted a high number of users reported problems with Facebook in the early morning hours on Wednesday, with many complaints citing problems with the platform's feed and "celebrity posts".

A Meta spokesperson said in a statement: "Earlier, a configuration change caused some people to experience issues with their Facebook feed. The issue has been resolved quickly and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the bug."

The celebrity spam bug has been the most significant issue affecting the main Facebook platform since last October, when a prolonged outage affected Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger for several hours, and the company described the outage at the time as They have an error that occurred during routine maintenance.
